Error 217 occurs when attempting to re-activate a computer that was disabled by a Smaart Support Technician or via the machine ID cancellation form in your license management account.
To prevent Error 217 from occurring, do not use the machine ID cancellation form to remove an active computer or to troubleshoot Smaart. When you are done with a computer and want to free it from your account, please follow the steps to deactivate Smaart through the program instead.

This error can only be resolved by Rational Acoustics Support. Please submit a ticket so we can assist you with re-activating Smaart.
