"Subscription Grace Period In Progress" Message



Note: This error only occurs with subscription-based licenses
 
When Smaart cannot connect to the licensing server to verify if the subscription is active or not, it will go into a 5-day "grace period". Smaart will remain active for these 5 days, however it will become suspended if it cannot connect to the internet after the "grace period" ends.



This message may vary depending on your Smaart edition


To resolve this, simply connect your device to the internet* and restart Smaart. Though not always necessary, you may also need to restart your device. You do not need to activate again, though if Smaart does ask for activation please contact support.


*If are connected to the internet, but you notice that you also cannot access the license management portal, a network issue or firewall setting may be preventing you from reaching our server. Please connect to a different network (or cellular hot-spot) and try again.


Otherwise, if you have any VPN services (such as Apple's Private Relay), please disable it and try activation again.
