How to Change or Cancel Your Smaart RTA Subscription


Smaart RTA and Smaart RTA Pro subscriptions are billed through Apple. Rational Acoustics does not bill you, nor can we offer you a refund. For refund requests, please contact Apple through the app store.


Smaart RTA Subscriptions


Smaart RTA for iOS offers two subscription levels: Smaart RTA and Smaart RTA Pro. Each Level has a monthly or yearly subscription option.



You can make changes to your Smaart RTA subscription in two places:


From Within the App

In the Smaart RTA app, navigate to Settings > Subscription Settings. Here you can view and manage your current subscription plan. To select a different plan, simply tap the subscription option you would like to change to. To cancel your subscription, use the "cancel" button at the bottom of the window.


From Outside of the App

Your subscription can also be changed or canceled from within your iCloud subscription settings.



Upgrading/Downgrading Your Subscription


Upgrading 

When upgrading your subscription, apple will immediately refund you a prorate for the remainder of your Smaart RTA subscription. You will then be charged the new subscription amount and your Smaart RTA Pro subscription will start immediately.


Downgrading

When downgrading your subscription from Smaart RTA Pro to Smaart RTA, your Smaart RTA Pro subscription will continue until the end of your current subscription period. This means that monthly subscribers will continue to have Pro access until the end of their subscription month, while annual users will have access until the end of their subscription year. 


At the end of your subscription period, the change will take effect and Apple will charge you the price of your new subscription. It is at this time that you will lose access to pro features.



Canceling your Subscription


When a Smaart RTA or Smaart RTA Pro subscription is canceled, you will continue to have access to the app until the end of your current subscription period. This means that monthly subscribers will continue to have Pro access until the end of their subscription month, while annual users will have access until the end of their subscription year. 


At the end of your subscription period, the subscription will not renew and you will need to lose access to Smaart RTA until you begin a new subscription.
