Can I Try Smaart Before Purchasing?

Absolutely! 

Smaart has demo editions for Suite, LE, SPL, and Data Modeler, which are usable for a finite amount of time and with limited functionality. These do not include Smaart RT, as its features are identical to those found in Suite's Real Time mode.

Once activated, a demo license of Smaart acoustic analysis software only lasts for 30 days. Data Modeler's demo, however, is limited to 10 days. The demo expires upon detection of any attempts to alter system time and is unable to be extended in any way.

Before downloading a Smaart demo, ensure that your computer is able to meet its minimum system requirements (detailed here).

Demo builds are updated as Smaart is updated, so downloading a demo means you're always able to try out the most up-to-date version. Additionally, when major updates to Smaart are released (9.1, 9.2, etc...) the demo builds are renewed so you can download a demo of the new version and evaluate it again. This is true even if you have already downloaded a previous version demo.

If you enjoy the Smaart demo and decide to purchase a license, you must download a completely separate installer in order to install and activate the full program.

Limitations/Differences Include:

• Demo versions are unable to save or load a configuration file and open with their own default configuration upon launch.
  
• The maximum reference delay for Transfer Function measurements (where applicable) is 50ms.
  
• The cursor readout background color is bright orange.
  
• (SPL) log files are limited to 10 minutes.

Data Modeler-Specific Limitations Include:

• You cannot save or load projects.
• Filter Reference Mode is limited to Generic only.
• You cannot export project settings.
