Errors 553 and -199
Errors 553 and -199 can occur if Smaart's machine ID changes while the software is deactivated. This is most likely due to an operating system upgrade, hardware change, or the use of imaging and cloning software such as Time Machine or Acronis True Image.
This error cannot be resolved without assistance from Rational Acoustics Support. It typically requires a special code to resynchronize the program with your license management account. Please submit a ticket so we can help you get Smaart activated again.
To avoid this error, do not deactivate Smaart unless you are retiring your device. Deactivation is not required to reinstall or update the program.
