Can I transfer my saved configuration to another device, operating system, or version/edition of Smaart?

Short Answer: No

While you can save your current settings to a configuration file to be recalled at a later time, this file cannot be reliably transferred between devices or across operating systems. Some of the settings saved within configuration files contain environment specific variables relating to the system Smaart is installed on. 

Loading a saved configuration on a different device may cause certain features within Smaart to not function properly and can even cause Smaart to crash. Therefore, we recommend starting with a fresh configuration after moving to another computer, operating system, or after any major Smaart updates.
