Is the Smaart IO compatible with the Smaart v9 platform?

Yes, although it is now treated as a generic controllable interface like our other integrated audio devices such as the Roland Octacapture or Audient EVO series.

Gain control and phantom power can be natively controlled using the Smaart input meters (View > Input Meters, or the [Shift] + [E] hotkey.) Microphone sensitivity based calibration and the saving of microphones is no longer supported. SPL calibration must be done manually using a calibrator such as the iSEMconSC-1.
